BLACKPINK, one of the biggest girl groups in the world, has no shortage of fans in the UK and Europe, and thousands gathered in London’s Wembley Arena to catch a glimpse of the fabulous foursome perform some of their biggest hits. Here are five of our favourite moments from their final night in the capital:
1. Hits, hits and hits galore
“Kill This Love,” “Lovesick Girls” and “Playing With Fire” are some of the group’s most well-known hits, and whilst fans were predictably on their feet for such beloved bangers, a double performance of the girls’ latest hit “JUMP” rendered the crowd euphoric. Excitement for the girls’ upcoming EP couldn’t be higher.

2. A cameo by FKA Twigs
ROSÉ’s solo stage led to one of the highest of highlights from the evening, FKA Twigs joined the BLACKPINK member backstage during her performance of “APT.”, with the two sharing shots and snacks in a nod to the Korean drinking culture alluded to in the song. The cameo delighted the crowd, and served up a special treat to the London crowd.
3. Happy families everywhere to be seen
Concert-goers of all ages could be seen: whilst the girls’ core fandom skews younger, there were many happy families and diverse groups in attendance: parents and children sharing lightsticks, couples making it a date night, and even grandparents joining in chants. Such is the band’s wide appeal that the concert was a joyful evening out that all ages could enjoy.

4. Personality-filled solo stages
From JISOO, to LISA, to JENNIE and finally to ROSÉ, it was a delight to see all four members perform the solo work that they have worked so hard on during their past year and a half away. JISOO’s light, delightful pop numbers contrasted with the badass hip-hop energy brought by LISA, whilst the crowd were screaming along to every word from both JENNIE and ROSÉ viral hits “like JENNIE” and “APT.” respectively. It was a treat to see all four of them perform their solo work live for fans for the first time.
5. A tribute to the Spice Girls
When the opening to “WANNABE” rang out across Wembley Stadium, the screams could not have been louder. The girls treated their older fans to the British pop classic in homage to the greatest girl group to ever come from these shores. Mel B, Mel C, Emma, Victoria and Geri would surely have been proud to see that BLACKPINK are continuing to carry the global girl group mantle on UK shores with the same empowered, infectious and fun spirit that the Spice Girls did two decades ago.
