Singapore-based Indonesian R&B soul-pop sensation lullaboy is set to make history this summer as the first Singapore-bred artist to perform at the iconic Summer Sonic Festival in Bangkok. Scheduled for the 24th of August, his appearance will see him taking the same stage as global stars such as Alicia Keys, 21 Savage, Camila Cabello, and the Black Eyed Peas.
“It’s an incredible honor to represent Singapore & Indonesia on a stage of this magnitude,” said lullaboy. “To perform alongside legends like Alicia Keys and the Black Eyed Peas is beyond anything I dreamed possible. I hope this opens more doors for South East Asian artists everywhere.”
Coinciding with the festival announcement is the release of lullaboy’s poignant new single, “i don’t like u (but i love u)”, the fifth track from his upcoming third album, hotels & heartbreaks. The ballad explores the complexities of love and incompatibility, inspired by a deeply personal conversation that impacted his view on relationships.
