The ‘Kings of P-Pop’ SB19’s member Justin has announced his forthcoming solo single titled, “Dahon” (Leaf).
Sony Music Philippines and 1Z Entertainment unveiled the release on their official social media platforms, with the track cover artwork. The song marks Justin’s latest collaboration with Filipino singer-songwriter Maki.
The duo were recently confirmed to be working together once again on “Dahon”, after Justin was featured in the music video of Maki’s single “habangbuhay pansamantala” (Temporary Forever). Maki is serving as the songwriter of the song and captures romance in its purest form.
According to Justin, “Dahon” explores the enduring nature of true love, depicting a relationship that continues to grow and withstand life challenges and the passage of time.
Justin also added that collaborating with Maki had long been one of his aspirations, citing his admiration for the singer-songwriter’s work. He added that Maki’s creativity and artistic direction closely aligns with his own vision, making the collaboration both a professional opportunity and a rewarding experience.
“Dahon” will be released on digital music platforms worldwide on 19 June by Sony Music Philippines and 1Z Entertainment.
