1. Originally training as a singer, she has spent years honing her songwriting skills, leading to the confessional songwriting you hear today.
“Just a wreck in a dress, flagging down, every next passing car, hiding scars. Maybe they’ll take me in’, cause when you left, I did too. Yeah, I left my heart with you. Do you still see me in the rear-view?” is one of our favourites from “It’s Not Fair Babe!”.
2. Also a pianist, this makes her a true triple threat.
Although she grew up playing classical music, she now puts those skills to good use writing pop hits.
3. She continues to try new things in her music and is inspired by many songwriters.
She is a big fan of Taylor Swift, but is currently also enjoying Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter.
4. Her favourite Taylor Swift songs are “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”, “Ivy” and “Cowboy Like Me”.
As a folkmore fan in particular, she dressed up inspired by the albums when catching Taylor’s Eras Tour.

6. Her husband is also in music, as a member of the band RESORT.
Whilst they don’t collaborate together on every project, their different focuses in songwriting means they complement each other well.
7. Her first album SHN (2019), had a mixture of Mandarin and English songs.
These days, she focuses on her English-language work as her lyrics do not need to be translated.
