ALLDAY PROJECT burst onto the scene in 2025 with the ambition to be the next big co-ed group to come out of the K-Pop scene. Under THEBLACKLABEL, the fivesome burst onto the scene with “FAMOUS”, establishing a hip-hop identity which follows through to their second EP CRASH, given fans five tracks that continue to mostly build on this hip-hope, electro groove that serves to reinforce their already unique position on the scene.
Opening track “TALK” wastes little time: a strong and unapologetic song, it pairs heavy beats with an assertiveness that perfectly syncs with the group’s performance. The track does not hesitate for a single second: it is an effective and bombastic opener to a record that boldly approaches both fans and new listeners alike.
Title track “CRASH” builds on this without pause, shifting the album into little more of a dance groove, its catching electro hook set to keep listeners dancing all the way throughout. It stands strong amongst their other title tracks, and its position as the second track on the album raising the momentum of the record, before barrelling right into “DO IT LIKE THIS”, where the group continues to ride high on their confidence. A perfect track for getting yourself psyched up before a night out, its heavy bass-led instrumentation allows the EP to fully settle into its vision when it comes to ALLDAY PROJECT’s hip-hop sound.
The song’s most sonically interesting track, “NO LIMIT”, utilises a particularly engaging pre-chorus alongside more lyrics that continue on the same lyrical themes that run through most of the album, aiming to boost the confidence of their fans via strong statements about self-strength and the power of ones clique.
Lastly “UP ALL NIGHT” takes a U-turn from the non-stop hip-hop. A feel-good, guitar-led ballad, anyone partial to a mellow K-Pop song should find more of what they love in this gentle round out to what is an otherwise largely bombastic album that effectively retreads the same boards that brought them a fast fanbase to begin with, with enough energy and empower lyrics to keep existing fans satisfied. Overall, CRASH is a solid consolidation of the co-ed group’s sound that will no doubt keep their fans satisfied.
