BABYMONTER, BINI, LE SSERAFIM, Jennie and more acts to perform at Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan.
The Global girl group BINI will perform on 14 August in Osaka with TWS and LE SSERAFIM, before appearing again on 18 August in Tokyo with LE SSERAFIM. BABYMONSTER will also join the lineup, sharing the Tokyo stage on 14 August with Jennie. The BLACKPINK star is also likewise scheduled to perform on 16 August in Osaka with David Byrne.
Summer Sonic has highlighted BINI’s growing international profile, noting the girl group’s recent Coachella performance and describing them as a rising force in the global pop scene. The Tokyo Beach on 16 August themed “Eurodance Paradise”, will feature acts including Real McCoy, SNAP!’s Thea Austin and Crystal Waters, turning the seaside venue into a one big night showcase of classic Eurodance.
They will join the Filipino boy group SB19 and Filipino-Japansese Ena Mori in this year’s programme. SB19 is set to perform on 15 August in Tokyo, while Ena Nori will appear on 14 August at the Spotify Stage in Tokyo.
In other news, BINI are preparing now for their upcoming second world tour ‘Signals’ on 20 June 2026 at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The tour will cover multiple cities including Cebu, as well as stops across Europe, North America, and Asia. It is presented by ABS-CBN Events, ABS-CBN Music, Star Magic, and thier international agency The Team (formerly known as Wasserman).
BABYMONSTER recently released animated posters featuring all six members ahead of their third EP, Choom, by their label YG Entertainment on 28 April. The teaser presented each members distinct style with a snippet of the title track. The four track mini album with a hip-hop, dance and R&B will release on 4 May.
LE SSERAFIM have also announced their ‘PUREFLOW’ world tour 2026, with dates across South Korea, Japan, United States, Europe, and Asia, following details share via their official platforms, Weverse.
Meanwhile, Jennie has been named a global ambassador for Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta. The campaigns feature contrasting visual styles, pairing bold red tones with softer blue hues to reflect her stage persona.
Summer Sonic is a one of Japan’s largest annual music festivals and takes place simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka, featuring a rotating lineup of international and Japanese artists across rock, pop, and electronic music. This year’s edition runs from 14 to 16 August.
