Mongolian Rockers The HU Release “The Men” And Announce Tour

Picture the coolest thing you can think of. It won’t be better than masterful instrumentation of metal combined with traditional Mongolian throat singing. That’s what The HU are all about.

Their unique style – “Hunnu Rock”, as they’ve coined it – is musical majesty.

Following the announcement of their absolutely (and justifiably) packed world tour, The HU released triple track single The Men, which features the song of the same name, “Warrior Chant” and previously released “The Real You”.

The titular song is the perfect introduction to the group. Every instrument and component of the song has its purpose: masterfully pieced together in a rousing battle anthem that’ll have you just itching to see them rock live. Though the same can be said for pretty much all of their songs.

“Warrior Chant” is exactly as it sounds. The deep, growl-ish singing could rise even the lowest of spirits.

Their music simply transcends all constraints. Don’t let the metal title deter you; while bleeding with power, The HU are an absolute delight to listen to, and no challenge to the ear. Let their perfect noise incantate you as the meaningless stresses of the day melt into nothing.

The HU will tour the U.K. and Europe from September.

Closing off the musical sorcery is “The Real You”, which leans more modern day in its instrumentation, but is still laced with those gorgeous traditional instruments throughout. It reaches its peak at the string instrumental near the end of the song, layered with boundless rock and backed with the singers’ deep calls.

When it comes to describing The HU’s music, there simply aren’t enough words to do them justice. You’ve just got to listen for yourself.

The HU are set to embark on their tour in the U.S. in May through to September, where they will then go on to grace European venues.

The HU are on Instagram and all major streaming platforms. You can listen to The Men here
