Purple and pink were the colours of victory on a dazzling night of television!
Cheers, tears and riots of colour filled the Crossroad center as the Ultimate 8 dressed to the nines in their assigned hues, reunited with ex-housemates, families, supporters and special guests for the bold and bright Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 Big Night on Saturday, 28 February.
After more than 120 days inside “Bahay ni Kuya” (Brother’s House), the strength, resilience and heart of Kabataang Pinoy (Filipino Youth) were tested time and again. Beyond the nominations, however, it was the bonds forged inside the house that proved as powerful. Friendships were built to last well beyond the cameras, along with lessons set to guide as they step into their “totoong laban” (real fight) in the outside world. From this point on, the future looks wide open for these young stars and there is no sign of them slowing down.
With the votes through their partnership with Maya, Kapamilya housemate Lella Ford dubbed as “Ang Blooming Bunso ng Tacloban” (The Blooming Youngest of Tacloban) clinched the top spot after earning 53.63% of the total public votes. Meanwhile, Kapuso housemate Caprice Cayetano, known as “Ang Demure Daughter ng Quezon City” (The Demure Daughter of Quezon City), garnered 61.78% outperfroming her fellow contenders in her category. Each Big Winner will receive 1 million Philippine pesos (17,318.87 US Dollar).
Taking the runner-up spots were Kapamilya housemate Krystal Mejes, who secured 22.26% vote, and Kapuso Jornales with 24.5%. As second Big Placers, they will each take home 500,000 pesos (8,659.43 US Dollar). Kapamilya housemate Miguel Vergara finished in fourth place with 7.16% of the public vote, while Kapuso Housemate Aaliyah followed with 5.50%. Both housemates will receive 200,000 pesos (3,463.77 US Dollar) each for their stint in the competition.
The show burst open with a high-energy production number that set the tone for the big night. The P-Pop groups BGYO and Cloud 7 took the stage to perform the season’s theme song, “Kabataang Pinoy” (Filipino Youth). The 12 ex-housemates, Waynoona Collings, Reich Alim, Sofia Pablo, Fred Moser, John Clifford, Rave Victoria, Anton Vinzon, Iñigo Jose, Lee Victor, Eliza Borromeo, Carmelle Collado and Marco Masa reunited for a choreographed dance rouine. The group later paraded across the stage carrying flags in colours representing the Ultimate 8 and their respective mantra words. They also delivered their own rendition of “Karera” (Race) by the Filipino girl group BINI.
Previously, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition concluded its historic run with “BreKa” Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca, crowned as the first season’s winning duo during the grand finale on 5 July 2025, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. The pair secured victory after garnering 33% of the total combined public votes.
