On 7th January 2026, NMIXX’s Lily and GIRLSET’s Camila surprised fans with a live cover of “For Good” from Wicked, available on YouTube. The song was first performed by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, the original Broadway actresses for Elphaba and Glinda. However, it’s evident that Lily and Camila’s version was primarily inspired by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s gorgeous rendition in Wicked: For Good (2025).
Camila, 20, channelled Ariana Grande perfectly with her delicate, mellifluous vocals. 23-year-old Lily, ever the refined vocalist, showed off her voice’s husky side, drawing inspiration from the richness and power of Cynthia Erivo’s singing.
Fans were quick to point out the similarities between Lily and Camila. First off, they’re both the eldest members and de facto main vocalists of their respective JYP Entertainment girl groups. As children, they also participated in TV singing competitions; Camila was a finalist on The Voice Kids France in 2018, while Lily placed fourth on K-Pop Star back in 2014.
Last but certainly not least, the two are currently rocking blonde hair. Here’s hoping that this won’t be the last collab between Lily and Camila, two of the most promising Gen Z idol vocalists right now.
