Taemin is set to be the focus of a dedicated exhibition at the Grammy Museum, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to receive a solo showcase at the institution.

The exhibition will open on 1 April and run until 25 May 2026. The showcase aims to reflect Taemin’s career as a singer, songwriter and dancer, as well as his wider cultural influence. Curator Kelsy Goelz described him as an artist whose work extends beyond performance, citing his stagecraft, visual style and contribution to the global rise of K-pop. This display will include a selection of costumes, props and personal items linked to his career.
Among the items featured are red and black outfits worn during his Ephemeral Gaze world tour, an all-white ensemble from his Veil concert, and costumes used for appearances on The Kelly Kelly Show. Stage equipment such as in-ear monitors, microphones and light sticks will also be exhibited, alongside handwritten letters addressed to fans.
The exhibition will be staged on the Grammy Museum’s fourth floor with a permanent display dedicated to Michael Jackson. Its opening comes ahead of Taemin’s scheduled appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this April 2026, where he is set to perform for the first time.
Taemin debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee, with songs including “Ring Ding Dong”, “Sherlock” and “View”. Since launching his solo career in 2014, he released tracks such as “Danger:, “Move” and “Want”. He recently parted ways with Big Planet Made Entertainment and has since signed with Galaxy Corporation, marking a new phase in his career.
